e-Pharmacy Procurement System is a centralised web based system to facilitate hospitals to procure life-saving drugs and surgical disposable items from pre-qualified local pharmacies (Vendors) under a competitive bidding system. Hospital pharmacist publish requisitions for medicine/disposable items while vendors provide MRP and discount rate against those items. Lowest bidder gets selected and notified to supply medicine/disposable item to hospital within the short time span defined by pharmacist.
